Schmidt Studio and Gallery is located in the Historic Ashland / Henry Clay area; nestled in the heart of downtown Lexington. While the studio is a hip, trendy, happening place to be - we hope it feels like home! It is so amazing to look out our windows! From one side we have a bright, sunny courtyard and gardens. On the other, a view of Central Avenue and a row of goregous townhomes. We are within walking distance of Woodland Park and UK’s Campus. We pretty much think we have an awesome little place here and invite everyone to come check it out!

Our Life

Born and raised in Lexington, we each graduated from Bryan Station High and the University of Kentucky. Like all true Lexingtonians- we bleed blue! GO CATS! We have three beautiful children, Owen-4, Ross-2, and Kyleigh Morgan-10months. Some people think we are crazy and if you catch us on the right day we will admit it. An interesting fact is that most people have no idea how young we both are! If you can guess our ages we will give you a prize! We feel truly blessed to be living this dream together. Very often we go through our lives playing it safe. We have been chasing our dreams together for nearly 8 years now and it has been an amazing experience!
